Summary
What does this car say about you?
I'm 22, so I get some strange looks, alittle worried about walking away from it at times incase I come back to some damage, but I guess thats more a reflection on other people than it is on the car.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Family & Friends think its great, A few thumbs up's from theneighbours.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Defiantly , Sporty + Practical, although VW do ask quite a premium these days, wouldn't fancy paying 27k for one new.
What are you likely to buy next?
Not sure, Possibly a 135i Coupe if I can afford it.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Fantastic! Car is very quick, I had a Swift Sport previous to this which wasn't a slow car, but the Scirocco is in another league altogether. Steering feel is quite lacking, but so is every car with electric power steering. It eats up motorway miles perfectly smoothly yet transforms into planted beast on a country road. You can easily get 40mpg out of it on a motorway run and mid to low 30's in urban driving. However if you've a heavy foot expect to see the MPG drop into the 20's, it is thirsty if you drive it hard. Huge amounts of grip although it'll light up the front tyres and understeer in the wet if your not careful leaving a tight roundabout
What's it like to park?
Quite difficult, the car is deceptively wide and its hard to judge the length of the bonnet and boot due to quite a small mirror. But thats just first impressions, I'll get used to it after a few weeks.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing so far
What's most practical about your car?
Visibility is surprisingly good for the type of car, although its quite hard to judge when parking
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Electronic Dampers - Comfort Mode is superb on the motorway and for general cruising about, car rides really really well even on the optional 19" alloys. Sport firms up the car and makes it feel tight and nimble. Excellent for blasts down country roads. Touch Screen Radio / CD Changer / iPod Connectivity in arm rest. Heated Black Leather will be a nice treat in the cold winter mornings.
