Volkswagen Sharan Estate (1995-2000) interior, tech and comfort

High quality interior materials are VW’s trademark and Sharan is no exception and there’s an upmarket feel inside. The driving position is good – the steering wheel is adjustable for height and reach – and there’s a good view of the road.
Engine noise is well suppressed and the cabin is well insulated against wind and road noise, too. Lots of legroom for passengers in the first two rows of seats; the third row is better suited to children. The seats are comfortable over short distances, but need more support for longer trips.
