Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Strong and good feedback like all VW Audi products. Great driving and handling on any road or weather condition and that includes the Cairngorms mountain range with steep high mountain roads up and then down again with no barriers. Turning and bumps etc do not affect handling. Smooth strong and stable suspension in all situations. I prefered to stick with the 195/16/60 Commercial tyres for tyre life and handling. 20K and they look like new but they are Continentals and all weather.
What's it like to park?
Just like a car but only if you use your mirrors.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
1 front caliper seized so i replaced both front one's with new. Pads and discs were good all round. Cambelt full kit done. Intermediate shaft replaced and 2 complete driveshafts. Boost pressure sensor on thick oil cooler pipe replaced after intermittent loss of power and MAF on air box done for good measure. Throttle body Drop links on either strut replaced. Spare wheel carrier is a common part to sieze. £115 for an original Galaxy part, VW another £30.
What's most practical about your car?
Driving position is just like my old Passat ,Space and removing seats is so easy and gives you a huge space in the back. Fuel economy is 45 mph average when warm and motorway at 60mph 55+ mph 0r 52 mph at 70 mph. 800 miles on average per tankful/ £70. Powerful engine fully loaded and 3 persons on board. Good line of sight in all directions and driving views. Very comfortable seats even on 7 hour journey's.
