Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I am someone with lots of children!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Husband drives a 5 series BMW so my car isn't his first choice. If my friends don't like my car then they are too polite to be rude. They all drive something similar.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, without hesitation. The one thing I really think is pants about this car is that there is no spare wheel. The run flats are fine until you have a really serious puncture and then you are done for. In a rural area no-one carries as stock the reinforced tyres required for a 7 seater.
What are you likely to buy next?
Hopefully a smaller VW when the children have cars of their own.

Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£20,000
When did you buy the car?
January 2014
Did you get a good deal and why?
Negotiated on an ex-demonstrator, he wanted a sale, I wanted a car.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
It is my second Sharan. We have 3 children and a dog so I need a biggish car. I bought it as an ex-demonstrator and negotiated a really good price.
What was the dealer like?
Excellent, really responsive and helpful.

What's it like to drive?
Piece of cake once you have got used to the Blue motion stopping bit and you trust the automatic brake.

Parking sensors help, but its find.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
No
What's most practical about your car?
7 seats, lots of room and really easy to drive. Sliding doors make it easier in narrow parking spaces because it is quite a big car. DSG makes it stress-free to drive, and its really comfortable.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
DSG and sliding doors.
