Volkswagen T-Roc SUV SEL 1.5 TSI EVO 150PS 5d Owner Review

In their own words
I purchased this car as a replacement for a series of Golfs that I have owned previously. The most common problem I have with it is its kangarooing motion when cold. It has been back to the garage to have this fixed, but although there is some improvement its not perfect. Others have commented on the care needed with the clutch and accelerator when taking off from a standing start if one is to avoid stalling the car, this is a feature which I too am familiar with and many times I have incurred the wrath of other motorists when the car has failed to pull off without stalling. The main concern I have with the car is the number of rattles it has and despite much time spend by me in trying to correct these they still persist, The dealership has not show much interest in resolving these. I did not expect a new vehicle to be beset with the number of rattles I have experienced. I quite like the increased ride height but not the lack of visibilty at the rear, which it would have been nice to have a blind spot indicator to mitigate. The suspension is quite stiff and the car tends to transmit a lot of road bumps to the passengers. i find the level of so called "tech" in the car to be excessive and to be honest I dont understand most of it and the handbook is very poor in expanations unless of course you are a VW trained engineer ! I think that I would be willing to exchange much of the available "tech" for an improvement in build quality. I am surprised at the number of other reviewers who have returned their T Rocs, ideally thats what I would like to do!
