What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My neighbour has a Range Rover and a convertable BMW, so he probabily thinks Im an under achiever.
Would you buy this car again and why?
If it was my own money,. I would go for the 170ps engine with the DSG gearbox. However when I renew my company car in 2012, I will probabily go for another one of these, hopefull VW will bring the CO2 emmision for DSG down to below 140
What are you likely to buy next?
My company car choice is between VW and Audi. So its a Tiguan or a A4 2.0 TDi or an A6 2.0 TDie. Would rather have the fully loaded Tiguan with all its praticatities and comfort rather than the limited for space A4 or underpowered A6 TDie.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
The ride is very comftable, seating position is best I have ever had out of many cars. Minimal body roll. Would have liked the 170ps but company CO2 emmision rules would not allow, but performance is OK. Common rail engine is a massive improvement over the previous VW diesel engines. Would have liked the DSG but against my companies CO2 rules!
What's it like to park?
Very easy. The car has the auto parking system, which works fine 8 out of 10 times. It sometimes tells you the space is not big enough, but when I switch the system off I can often get the car in the space myself. All round sensors are good though.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Panoramic sunroof made a noisy rattle, which had to be repaired. Fuel flap cover snapped off when I walk into it whist filling up, very flimsy plastic. Both jobs fixed under waranty
What's most practical about your car?
Love the driving position, do 30,000 miles per year, and never get a back ache with this car no matter how long the journry. Pop out tow bar is really useful and the folding seat options are good.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Panaramic sunroof is great, multi function touch screen for Dab, phone etc is great tool.
