Summary
What does this car say about you?
It says I have a family to look after but when I'm on my own, I can look awesome in the sporty body kit!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They all think it's a nice looking car. The father-in-law has driven it and likes it. I have seen a few people walk past my house and point, stop and look at it. It is a very attractive looking car.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes and yes. I would shove all the extras I can. I would definatly have leather and go for the 170BHP. Not sure I would have the auto although they are 7 spee DSG now and not crappy 6 speed auto boxes (had one on an 09, rubbish).
What are you likely to buy next?
Unfortunatly, we do need a bigger car, I do more miles now and the wife has a Golf GT Sport. I have decided to go for the bigger brother, a Touareg.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£29,500
When did you buy the car?
May 2010
Did you get a good deal and why?
Wasn't too bad of a deal. I'm a regular customer so know the sales team quite well. I didn't do too well on my trade in but the guys really pulled out all the stops to get me the car I wanted.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
The R Line is the top spec. Had two previous Tigs and this is by far the best.
What was the dealer like?
Excellent. The only problem was the DVLA (as ever) taking thier time on my private plate transfer.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
The engine is pokey when you need it, but lack a bit at the top end (I have the 140 BHP) and struggles over 80mph. The turning circle is good for a car this size, it's not too noisy around town.
What's it like to park?
Great. It's higher than most cars but not quite a true 4x4 (thinking Touareg) I don't have any aids with it (rear camera or sensors) and I (and the wife) can park in a normal space with ease.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Not a sausage. Although I had a flat tyre but the warning sensors alerted me and I had to convince the garage I did have a flat!
What's most practical about your car?
The sliding rear seats give us a few extra inches boot space for our twin buggy as the standard boot is just a wee bit too short. Our twins still have plenty of space in thier chairs in the rear though, they can't quite reach my seat to kick the back of it!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The panoramic sunroof. Although not standard and was best part of £800, it is great on a sunny day. Our twins love staring out of their chairs into the clouds.
