What does this car say about you?

I like a quality car without being flash. Good taste.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Everyone seems to like it, they think it is smart and especially like the fact that it keeps going through floods, snow, mud etc.

Would you buy this car again and why?

After over 5 years & 67k miles I am now considering changing in the near future. I am now retired and do less miles, but thyere aren't too many other cars in this price range which tick all the boxes.

What are you likely to buy next?

Either another Tiggy or a CX-5.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Considering this was one of the early Tiguans, ordered when demand was high, yes.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Lived in the countryside so wanted a 4x4 that was reasonable to run, and looked smart in the executive car park.

What was the dealer like?

Fine, although car had dirty marks inside when delivered.

What's it like to drive?

Heavy clutch, low first gear but good when on the move. Fantastic cornering - grip leaves boy racers sliding around on bends & roundabouts, not too much body roll. Sometimes drive 320 miles straight through & no discomfort.

What's it like to park?

OK. Sensors essential as visibility is good but steering not precise at low speed.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing major. Had to replace a turbo valve which cost £350. It failed its first MOT due to broken rear coli springs, done under warranty but not good for a SUV.

What's most practical about your car?

Everything. Great driving position, chuckable, flexible seating/luggage space, good internal storage, parking sensors. Most usable car ever !

Panoramic sunroof.
