Volkswagen Tiguan (2016 - 2024) 1.5 TSI 150 Elegance 5dr DSG Owner Review

This is the 2nd Tiguan (1st 2litre petrol SE model 2nd model Elegance 1.5) I have owned and the new one has keyless access I find it a nuisance but no choice with this model. There are many distracting dash board warnings but there is no indication on dash that roof is open when you lock the car. The previous SE model’s cruise control more practical and safer. Otherwise very pleased with performance and economy. My bad experience with keyless operation was with a Jaguar , I had started the car on the drive then remembered i had left my wallet in the house rushed to get it leaving the car running . Unbeknown to me I had put my keys down in the house I got back in car and drove some 5 miles then stopped the car. Getting back to the car I realised I had left my keys at home. Fortunately my wife was able to deliver them to me.
