Volkswagen Tiguan (2016 - 2024) SE 2.0 TDI SCR BMT 150PS 2WD DSG auto 5d Owner Review

I like this car it’s very convenient entering and exiting. The driving view is excellent. I upgraded to winter pack for the heated seats , also Rear View Camera and ACC adaptive cruise control,which I had on my 2016 Touran ,I really rate this upgrade. I also purchased a a VW Manufacturer extended warranty which extends your warranty to 5 years,this must be purchased before the car is registered The car feels very solid and with a galvernised body and a 4 year service pack I don’t see any problems, time will tell. The mpg is very good, I do 85%of driving on the motorway and as I write the car has 4400 miles on the clock. The standard seats are very comfortable and the rears slide to allow for more luggage or to change the angle of the backrest. The standard DAB radio is also good and there is standard apple car play/android auto, which works well. the ride can be slightly firm, but the seats are comfortable, I have just had VW winter wheel and Tyres fitted they are 17in the ride is a little better.The car corners very well indeed despite its height. The heating is very good in this very cold spell due to the Automatic Supplementry Heater , we are off to Spain in June so the Climatronic cooling will be welcome. Lane assist is excellent but you have to signal when you change lanes as it deactivates the lane assist . The driver alert well it would wake the dead, if you try it be aware such a massive wake up call, be warned. The seats are very comfortable . All in all very happy with this car
