Volkswagen Touareg (2003 - 2009) 3.0 BlueMotion V6 TDI CR DPF (225bhp) 5d Tip Auto Owner Review

Had my v6 Touareg for a month now . First drive was nice car . 4 weeks on I love my car . I've spinal issues so need comfort . Got the Touareg to tow a caravan . Great move when the caravan is hitched up . It's what caravan you hardly know it's on there . Three axle car trailer with rally car and wheels it's hardly bothered with it . Hate the space saver spare . But that's clever how it folds itself to put back in its home in the back ( hope never need that again . I've changed the wheels to Porsche Cayenne 18" which are a bit narrower just so I can have All terrain tyres . Upside it improves the mpg quite a lot . By around 10mpg . I have a heavy right foot . In conclusion . It's not in anyway an eco car . But . 1 It feels incredibly safe 2 very comfortable 3 exceptional as a tow vehicle . 4 plenty of space inside . My stepson. Is 6'4" tall and is comfortable . Easy to drive almost lazy to drive . But press on it performs well considering it 2.5 tons in weight . I've done over 1000 miles in the month I've owned this car . If you want a big comfy mile muncher this is the car for you . I can see myself keeping this car for a few years yet .
