What does this car say about you?
Hopefully not too much as its a VW.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
All very positive, passengers like comfort and airy feeling. Ride is not so good in back at speed on bumpy roads, should have given two main rear seats better side bolsters. You cannot wedge your feet right under front seats if in back, only really an issue if over 6 foot with long legs.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes it's just superb at everything, going to shops, going for a blast, long distance cruising and towing large horse box.
What are you likely to buy next?
Have just bought it and plan to keep it 5-7 years so don't know. If VW still leading with a good product will buy another VW. Think they have best Diesel engines. If that changes will buy something else.

Paid market price seemed ok as car was 54k if bought new at RRP without discount.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
To replace older touareg.

What's it like to drive?
Good in town and on open roads/ motorway quiet smooth fast comfy great improvement on old which was already good. Auto box fuss free linked to superb engine. Doesn't feel like a large 4x4 which is good and bad. Old model felt/ sounded powerful. New car perhaps too refined.
What's it like to park?
Good all round visibility, parking sensors and 360 degree cameras make it easy to park.

Have you had any problems with the car?
No but only owned it 3 months.
What's most practical about your car?
Elec tow bar it's so easy to use Least useful are the Tiptronic padels will never use them Elec tailgate is not a major advantage New model lacks opening tailgate window which was useful on old model.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Dynaudio sound system best midrange sound have ever heard Superb elec seats are very comfy when set up.
