Did you get a good deal and why?

At the time the car had only 6000 miles & was less than a year old. It was a bargain on the face of it. Since close inspection - the rear door & quarter panels have been replaced/repaired. Should work out evens on resale.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I wanted Volkswagen and needed and MPV.

What was the dealer like?

Dealer knew the pricing was very competative - hence flippant and not really relevant. The car remains under manufacture warranty - removing dealer from any responsibility.

What's it like to drive?

Superb power delivery, balanced power steering and good brakes. 6 speed box makes this car a mile muncher on the motorways, 3000 revs returns just over 80mph. Fuel economy is very good. Cornering etc. is as can be expected from this class of car.

No problems

Have you had any problems with the car?

Warning lights for engine came on - fixed under warranty. Major design flaw - the driver seat height adjustment handle is located to the edge of the seat. As you leave the seat, you will catch the handle and the seat lowers. You need to adjust height back to require setting each time you enter the car.

What's most practical about your car?

Space and flexibility, fuel economy, power & reliability.
