Economy
Value
I bought a pre-registered (only 22miles) and got good part-ex on old car, so good value.
Costs
The diesel is economical after it is run in but can be a bit thirsty if you drive hard and fast.

Driving
Nice & comfortable to drive, responsive engine. One thing I don't like is the red display centre of the dash in your line of vision which I still cannot get used to after several months. 'A' pillars big which cause some problems when turning.
Performance
Nice gear ratio, turbo kicks in in 2nd gear, oodles of acceleration left even in 6th. Doesn't drive like a diesel, feels more like a petrol most of the time.

Living with it
Reliability
Not had any problems thus far engine-wise.
Image
Rather uninteresting looking I suppose if you go for aesthetics but it doens't matter when you are driving.
Comfort
Seats quite hard and it's the one car I cannot find a definitive driving position. Plenty of room in the back, slightly cramped for adults in the boot seats. Lots of storage compartments.

Security and Service
Security
Immobiliser and alarm, the latter being over sensitive. Very annoying 'safety' feature whereby the car bleeps everytime you take your belt off with ignition on, even if sat on your drive.
Service
Not had it fully serviced yet - the car hasn't told me that it needs servicing!

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Worrying fumes from engine (on diesel) emerging from behind drivers wheel when car cold. Apparently there is a fix for this in the pipeline.
Other
If you need a towbar, getting it factory fixed - took my dealer 2 days to retro-fix, then the electrics failed when I needed to tow something. Central locking dodgy on passenger door.
Ownership
Did you buy the car new?
New
Would you buy the same model again?
Yes
Did you buy from the same manufacturer again?
Yes
