it says i'm practical. all i ask for is functionality,reliabilty + economy and i've got them all.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
well impressed
Would you buy this car again and why?
yes. i'm a big guy and disabilty causes me to have restricted movement.it took me 18 months to decide on this make and spec.i tried zafiras,c maxes, galaxys, and many more.they all have their +'s and -'s.but for me the touran offers me 'everything i want in a car'
What are you likely to buy next?
depending on circumstances either a touran or a smaller car/ engine size with dsg.it will almost certainly be vw .

bought off internet,saved £1500. would have preferred to buy off dealer but they seemed inflexible on price
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
RELIABILITY. wanted the dsg because i have parkinsons. wanted the touran for ease of access/exit for myself and aged parents. wanted the seats for neices/nephews etc. .it will have good resale value in many years from now

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
its a dream to drive,smooth,plenty of acceleration,flys down the motorway if you want or cruises at leisure. as i stated previously drivers seat would be better if you could take it right back and to its maximum height
What's it like to park?
with the curvature of back window distance is deceiving.i find i'm further away from things than i think.maybe parking sensors would be advantageous? apart from that no problem

Have you had any problems with the car?
12 mnyhs old now @ 17000mls. its a joy to drive.no faults at all,although i was a bit unsure with the complexity of dsg box. runs like a dream
What's most practical about your car?
very roomy car,high seating position,plenty of seat combinations for awkward loads. brilliant economy.35 mpg round town. 60mpg - i checked it twice, @ 70mph in cruise control on motorway. £10 in fuel west brom to taunton.i'm not moaning
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
dsg,it does everything wihut fuss,well pleased
