VW reliabilty? The worst performing unreliable car I have ever owned. So many faults it is impossible to mention all of them. Repair bills about £600 every year and that is after I have done lots of work to it myself. Interior is boring and badly made, rattles, squeeks, trim falls off. Headlights are a disgrace, better having candles in a jar. Handles like a jelly Eats tyres Very uncomfy Good points- Stereo is not bad It's the wife's car so I don't have to be in it that often When it goes will never have another German car again (Now I know what German cars are like I will stick to Jap ones) Overall- terrible, unreliable, boring, poorly made piece of rubbish, walk away!
How reliable do you find the car?
3 clutches, 2 dual mass fly wheels. (Mega Money) Every MOT we have front bushes failure (common according to mechanics). EGR fault. Turbo failure. Poor electrics, door mechanism failure, constant blowing bulbs, heating failure, 3 sets of glow plugs.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
7 seats? that's a laugh unless the back passengers have no legs and you don't mind their heads being 1 inch from back window.About their car
