Driving the car is like a flying comfortable armchair. The diesel DSG model is quiet at high speeds, and comes with tonnes of space. Its staunchly reliable - no mechanical failures to date even in 40k of my own mileage. Dislike? doesn't come with a spare wheel as standard with this seven seater model. I found this disappointing as I considered a 7 seater Toyota Verso at the time which did. However, the Verso engine was loud, sluggish and undermined the driving experience. Happy with the VW, but they traditionally are light on bells and whistles. Therefore best to buy a top end model like this one.
How reliable do you find the car?
Owned the car for 4 years, no issues mechanically. Just replacing tyres etc.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
Extremely reliable car. Feels very safe and sturdy, and although its an automatic its very quick. Its a family car with some aggressive styling, and having driven a Toyota Yaris previously, it definitely has the much needed road presence.About their car
