On the road
Driving
Good fun really for a 1.8. Easily do 80-90mph on motorways. Steering is a bit iffy at times.
Performance
Good fun. Wheelspins too much in the wet if you are a little enthusiastic with the accelerator...

Living with it
Reliability
So far it's been ok. Hasn't started a couple of times - I think this has something to do with the immobiliser/electrics.
Image
Image rating? It's a Volvo 440 - what image??
Comfort
Seats are actually nice and comfortable. Heated seats, sunroof and car warms up quickly in winter.

Security and Service
Security
Immobiliser works well (even when it isn't meant to). Alarm sounds really sad when you arm it - don't set the alarm with friends around.
Service
Good service from Volvo UK, but expensive as with most main car dealers these days.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
None with engine itself. Very reliable and it gets thrashed every morning on the way to work...
Other
Rev limiter seems to be controlled by the gearbox, not the engine?
Ownership
