Volvo 440 1.8 SE 5d (1992/K) Owner Review

Economy
Value
I bought mine for £650 three years ago and it has passed every MOT with a problem, value motoring doesn't get any better than that!!! Cheap to buy and you get lots for your money with the higher spec models.
Costs
Petrol is I pain now we are nearly £1 a litre, but parts seem cheap, and they tend to last.

On the road
Driving
Not bad, fairly comfortable car for the price, more fun on open roads than in towns, hence 3/5.
Performance
Being 20, means I try to drive fast, and when I was 17 this thing did thrash my mate's fiestas/corsas etc however this car is 15 years old and my dads 1997 model is much nippier.

Living with it
Reliability

Image

Comfort
I can drive this car on 400+ mile journeys and be fit as a fiddle when I get out, the seats are superb providing they are the top spec fully adjustable ones!!!! Ride is pleasant too.

Security and Service
Security
You can see that thieves tried to break into mine in about three places!!! They failed three times!!! I'm thinking its probably quite good. Who would nick a Volvo!!!!
Service
volvo serving seems silly for a car thats worth so little, take it to an independent
