Yes but with the bigger 2.3 hpt engine.

Yes beacause i saw it and it was such good codition for the age and the price was so low.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I just like all the old volvos because they have a very good bulid qulity,body and shape very boxey and a range of engines.
What was the dealer like?
OK hes just a normal run of the mill roadway dealer.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
I had the 2.0 SE which was ok (its not a racing car its a famliy saloon) 0-62 in 11.4 seconds and flat out it did 116 mph which is very good for a car of this age and at that speed it was quite and was no big noises to report. The suspension is lovey and smooth because it has self leveling suspension, and nice big wheels to roll out pot holes and bumps. The gearbox is a 5 speed long ratio box giving a very smooth clunky change and sits and a low 2500 rpm at 70mph in 5th gear.only thing was it did tend to wheel spin on the inside wheel sometimes because of the diff being mounted over to the right giving a shorter drive shaft on the outside wheel when cornering.
What's it like to park?
If you have got a space big enough its fine to park and you dont need to worry about doing three point turns because the steering lock is so good you can just do U-turns in the road.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Volvos very rarely go wrong and mine never did.
What's most practical about your car?
Space inside is so much and its a great long distance car.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Just owning it was a joy.
