I like to be different and the C30 is certainly that!!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They,like me,like something different. Everyone so far, amazed by its beauty.
Would you buy this car again and why?
NO!! Atrocious fuel economy for which I understand I am not alone in experiencing with this engine, which is in various Volvo models. I feel abandoned by Volvo, a manufacturer that prides itself in after sales service.
What are you likely to buy next?
Probably back to VW, regardless of my two bad experiences.The Volvo's fuel economy is appaling for a 2.0 Ltr Diesel which has ruined an otherwise fantastic purchase. Getting 38 MPG when it should be nearer to 48!!Volvo very unhelpful, letting my superb dealer down, as well as myself.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Fantastic deal owing to Volvo's generosity during the credit crunch and in addition, being the end of the year is traditionally quiet.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Looks and reliability after two bad VW experiences

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
I think very good. It goes in the direction to which I point it, with precision. There are probably more agile cars out there like BMW, but "boring"!!!
What's it like to park?
Easy really, a little hard to gauge its width, owing to its fabulous shape but not had time to get used to that yet. The enormous glass hatchback makes reversing a doddle.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Battery decided to completely discharge overnight but reason undetected.
What's most practical about your car?
"Practical" is certainly not a word that should be used in association with the C30. I knew this before purchasing.Very poor storage inside the cabin.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Fold in mirrors and "Powershift" gearbox both of which, I paid extra for.
