What does this car say about you?
I love something different and the C30 is certainly that!!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Constantly admire it's beauty.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Absolutely not but only for one reason, the fuel consumption is awful, especially for a diesel. 38 MPG maximum (Should expect around 48 MPG), even on a long journey, having said that, it doesn't do much less knocking around town.Volvo are not remotely interested just passing me off as quickly as they could and I wonder if that's the Ford influence, especially as they are trying to sell Volvo!! The dealer service department were also arrogant re the problem, which came as a surprise after such fabulous service from the sales team.
What are you likely to buy next?
Back to a VW Golf regardless of the fact I have had two problamatic VW's. At least VW push the boat out to resolve problems!!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very good to drive. Very solid feel generally. Probably not as agile as a BMW etc but good enough for me.
What's it like to park?
Easy looking through the tailgate window but the width of the car is very deceptive which doesn't help in preventing scoring the alloys on the kerb. Three out of four of mine already have minor damage.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The battery decided to to discharge itself overnight and the cause was never determined. No problem since.
What's most practical about your car?
Nothing practical about the C30, very poor storage both within the cabin and the boot. I knew this before I bought it!!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The Powershift gearbox and the other extras which were:- folding door mirrors and auto dimming rear view mirror.
