Classy and impressive.I parked up on a hot day next to my mate's newish A4 convertible and no prozes for guessing what car everyone was looking at as we both parked up ??

Yes - deffinitely - Read this review again.
What are you likely to buy next?
Another C70, maybe even try the C70 2.3 T5. But diffinitely staying with Volvo but not for a LONG TIME TO COME!

Did you get a good deal and why?
I paid the going ratefrom a dealer with a warranty. Mine was a little bit more since the mileage was only 50k with body panels you could see your reflection and shave off of.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I wanted a soft top, did my research and when comparing with BMW 3 series, Saab 93 and Audi A4, found that Volvo offer the fastest retractable hood ( 30 seconds), loads more legroom in the rear, electric window buttons in the centre REAR console( BMW and Saab dont have any in the back )and even a 12v socket plug for the kids in the back !! Oh yes I nearly forgot, those 'oh so comfy' seats !
What was the dealer like?
A bit naive really. I got an exorbatantly good deal on my MG ZT face lift trade in -nearly a grand better than anywhere else.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Actually,up until recently, I've driven it with kid gloves. Only from speaking with 'Volvo mechanic' have i been advised that Volvo's love to be driven and whne I decided to throw caution to the wind and buried the accelerator into the rug, my word!! I never realised what a wolf in sheeps clothing ot was - and what a lovely sound that 20valve 5 cylinder lump makes at 4000revs plus, really nice.
What's it like to park?
Ok. Only criticism is its terribly wide turning circle. But hey, small price to pay for such a georgeous looking, head turning, relaible and practical machine.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Front off side caliper seizedc-easily replaced by a Volvo mechanic on my driveway ( proffesional,eager for the private work, only charged me 'cost' for the parts and labour was £30) Job done !
What's most practical about your car?
Easily accomodates 4 adults in style , in comfort and more space than you think in the boot.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Take your pick - Volvo computer , 1 button function for all 4 windows up/down simoultaneously, removable 3 cd disc cassette from centre console.
