Economy
Value
Was £28k new. At 47k miles, got for £13k. Very pleased.
Costs
Servicing heavy at dealer. AA Halfords 50% cheaper. Heavy on front tyres. Discs all round £520, Pollen Filter £45 - worth it though. Wing mirror £340 complete!

On the road
Driving
Sedate or fast, it's a pleasure. Very good acceleration and will leave boy racers behind if you want to get out of their way. Semi sports lots of luxury. Could benefit from stiffer suspension, but fine if you know the limits.
Performance
Provides fun and safety. The T5 must be a licence loser, but not much faster. Very stable drive.

Living with it
Reliability
No problems. First car I have had will keep for more than a year. Good economy for perfromance average 27.6mpg urban/mix 39 motorway.
Image
Beautiful lines. Gets looks and comments. Great engine and exhaust note. Reliable, safe, posh without flash and not everyone's got one! (like BMW).
Comfort
Very nice. Do loads of miles and never a pain. Rear is good for 2, squeeze for 3. Split seats would be a help. Great stereo beats most boy racers' sounds and can't be stolen! (won't fit another car). Poor rear vision - fit a reverse aid save paint!

Security and Service
Security
Alarm sometimes goes off without provocation. More in cold and wet.
Service
Not too costly, but AA Halfords - same service half the price. Thought brakes would do more than 68k miles. Though a heavy motor and brakes are GOOD!

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
None. A great workhorse and bags of power and smooth.
Other
Make sure you have good windscreen cover, the front screen costs £650!
