Summary
What does this car say about you?
No idea...
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
The C70 has a good status at the moment, not over-flash & not too reserved, no arrogance associated problems, most people appear to like it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, but I wouldn't buy the new C70, it's smaller yet heavier & slower, & also too expensive.
What are you likely to buy next?
Maybe a Volvo S60 T5, or possibly a D5...

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Have driven many Merc's/BMW's etc, and the C70 seems to drive better than the majority of them. Suspension seems the perfect compromise - smooth enough ride but with very little body roll, always remains flat & stable, good grip & quite agile for a big car, only really huge pot-holes unsettle it. Nice gearchange, good visibility, progressive brakes, not much to dislike really, and that T5 engine is the real star - perfect torque & power characteristics, will pull well from low revs, but also likes to rev, & makes a great sound when doing so!
What's it like to park?
Rubbish, poor lock due to big wheels, although visibility is quite good.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Not owned it very long yet, but the car feels well built & reliable.
What's most practical about your car?
It's not the most practical car really but does an ok job, rear seats are awkward to get to, but are quite roomy & comfortable, best suited to occasional rear passenger use. Boot is a respectable size.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Excellent stereo system, good traction control - can be turned on or off.
