Summary
What does this car say about you?
It says "Here's someone that wants to get from 'A' to 'B' in comfort, class and style... and then back to 'A' at the end of the night at speed!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Everyone comments on this car - from a visual standing, it is a very beautiful car. To my suprise, everyone likes the colour (mine is Saffron Gold).
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would buy this car again. I have owned 11 cars to date (including this one) and it is the only one that does everything I ask of it with ease.
What are you likely to buy next?
Next, I would like an Audi S3 / A4 or a Merc coupe.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£7,000
When did you buy the car?
August 2006
Did you get a good deal and why?
Considering it was so hard to find this car (1998 hand built by TWR Volvo C70 T5 GT with manual gearbox and the 18" alloy wheel package)... yes, I had a great deal!
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Filled all my needs perfectly.
What was the dealer like?
Private seller was very helpful and had collected every bill, service sheet, MOT slip, etc over the years and even sorted out a few minor problems I noticed before I bought the car.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Excellent - fantastic driving position. Power under your right foot in any gear at any speed. Very sure gearbox, amazing stability whilst cornering at motorway speeds (but a poor turning circle). Loads of feed-back from the wheel.
What's it like to park?
Not a car for the unexperienced driver to try and reverse park as you can't see anything out the rear window as the boot is very high and distances are difficult to judge. But other then that, very easy to park thanks to electric adjustable wing mirrors and PAS.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The car is flawless. Used as my daily driver for 10 months now, she's never missed a beat or let me down once. Only things I've replaced have the electric window motor (was struggling to operate just before I bought the car) and a wheel bearing unit (£70).
What's most practical about your car?
Sporty and fast for the weekends yet practical enough to be used as a business / office car too. Very spacious (4 seater), large boot and very comfy.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
So many options here - I'd have to say the full leather interior (fitted to the seats, door cars and steeering wheel) or the very impressive Dolby Pro-Logic Sound system.
