A choice of four: 2.0T, 2.3 T5, 2.4T and 2.5. All are good, even the entry-level 2.0T, because they’re all turbocharged. Go for the 2.4 if you can, it swift, responsive and capable of a sub eight second 0-60 time. For pure power go for the T5: 60 mph comes in just under seven seconds and it has a top speed of 155mph.
Not really a sports car, but more of a tourer with a decent ride (apart from low speeds and bumpy roads, where it is rough) and good steering, gearchange and brakes. The engines are powerful, but the car has problems handling it. The T5 feels twitchy at speed through corners. Effective traction control system is effective; very responsive; body control is good even near the limits; very confident roadholding, especially AWD.
