-
Economy
Value
Expensive to buy, residuals poor. Bear this in mind. Avoid early base models
Costs
Good mpg from a heavy car. Servicing at Volvo requires a mortgage. Try local specialists.
-
On the road
Driving
Comfortable, quiet, comfortable seats little road noise. Handling not too bad
Performance
Don't expect a white knuckle ride. It's a 1.6 family car. As such it's a pleasure to drive, sensibly.
-
Living with it
Reliability
In 2 years only tyres and brakes. It's a Volvo. you just know all is well every morning.
Image
You feel good driving them. I could never have a B.M.W or Merc, overpriced, overrated and overhere. Get a Volvo
Comfort
Seats are wonderful, sturdy solid ride adds to comfort.

Security and Service
Security
Remote locking and deadlocks and clever electronics means you buy and you keep it until you sell on.
Service
Efficient, but the welcoming smile on service managers faces when you take it for service means a big bill.
