Economy
Value
What a package for second-hand motoring. Best in its class and very underrated.
Costs
Volvos are not cheap motors to run, but it depends how you drive them. It's not a Ford, but you can get parts from various places other than main dealer.

On the road
Driving
Excellent all-round vision, steeering a little on the light side, but the smooth auto gearbox helps you to forget that.
Performance
Smooth to start with and then starts to liven up when the revs pick up. Good rigid suspension gives a litte fun to the btcc enthusiast.

Living with it
Reliability
It's a Volvo, well proven, speaks for itself.
Image
Well, if you like a saloon with all the trimmings, the only thing this car needed was the rear spoiler, stylish alloys, graphite paint, air con, sun roof, cruise control, E/Wx4, E/M CD, what more?
Comfort
Luxury leather interior, but like most Volvos you can drive 100 miles and feel like you've done 10.

Security and Service
Security
Alarmed, immobilised, deadlocks and locking wheelnuts, but you don't hear about many being pinched.
Service
Always helpful, polite and interested.
