Economy
Value
I paid peanuts at the auction on a rainy day so got good value there. Parts are still on the high side but coming down fast.
Costs
It has never let me down and only a very few wear and tear items have needed doing.

On the road
Driving
After 60,000 miles I really feel excited about getting in and going somewhere. I didn't for the first few months.
Performance
I think the auto box gets used to you after a while. Now, it flies past people overtaking on A roads where it used to need a big stick.

Living with it
Reliability
There are no squeaks, rattles or bangs and nothing needs attention.
Image
It gets jealous of 3 series at about T reg but nothing older. It looks great in white but not in some colours.
Comfort
Ride a bit crashy but I don't mind seats unbelievable, cabin fit and finish superb.

Security and Service
Security
Remote blipper sometimes gets confused and does the wrong command. Full of clever features, e.g. if you unlock but don't open any doors for 1 min, it locks up again.
Service
Main dealers need to be watched - will overcharge for simple jobs if they think you're blonde.
