No - too slow. Test drive well before buying to make sure you are completely happy. In other areas it's a good car though.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Comfortable but too slow. 1.8 litre 125bhp is underpowered. Doesn't like revving past about 4500 rpm. OK in town but on the motorway and when you want to overtake on a country road, incredibly annoying. Tried 2009 plate BMW 116i and '10 plate Golf 1.2 TSi and these are a much quicker. If you don't like driving and just want to get from A to B it's fine.
What's it like to park?
OK - PDC helps. Doesn't see to turn into spaces as easily as previous VW Bora.

Have you had any problems with the car?
Air con leaked.
What's most practical about your car?
Nice, comfortable, supportive seats.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Good stereo. Auto wipers handy. PDC. Tells me when the kids have not got their seat belts on, good lights.
