Summary
What does this car say about you?
I suppose it shows i'm different from old mondeo man. it is a discreet car, but when you look closer you see it is a real nice machine.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They love it! family love the refinement and comfort of the car. my daughter loves the look, as do i. and my grandson loves the power, and the noise-as do i!
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would probably buy a higher spec newer model of this car again if i saw one well priced. maybe for my purpose a diesel would be better, but i do love the 2l engine, very gutsy and refined. but a heavy car with a 2l engine will never impress majorly on fuel figures.
What are you likely to buy next?
I dont intend to buy any other car,as i expect this to last me until it conks it. but i will look after it until that moment.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
The car is so easy to drive and inspires confidence in all situations. it is a great and comfortable motorway cruiser, with more than enough power to carry a fully loaded car with 3 passengers and a dog, with luggage for a week away. gets good MPG on the motorways, not so in town. gets about 26 in town, mid 30's on motorway. car has a very satisfying surge of power, but due to turbo lag you can find yourself worrying about an overtaking move. but keep your foot in it and that quickly goes away..
What's it like to park?
The mirrors are well placed, and though the car does feel a bit wide, and the haunches on the side do take some getting used to, it is very easy. the steering is nicely weighted, not too heavy. you know where the wheels are.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The rear lights were stuck on for a phase, turned out to be a faulty wire, Volvo fixed it.

The boot is huge, and having loaded the entire car to the brim many times have total faith in it.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Buttons on wheel are very useful and well positioned, easy to use.
