What does this car say about you?
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would never buy a Volvo again. It was costing more and more to keep on the road (my last service cost £405). Too much went wrong, which meant hassle and huge bills.
What are you likely to buy next?
I'm going back to Japanese cars!

No

Did you get a good deal and why?
I think I got an average deal on this car. I got some discount and a hands-free set fitted, but not a huge discount on advertised price. Frustratingly I drove away and noticed a large chip in the windscreen that should have been picked up as part of their multiple checks on 2nd hand cars. It took another month to get fixed.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
What was the dealer like?
The salespeople were appalling to deal with,

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
This is a lovely car to drive - especially on motorways, it is responsive, powerful and comfortable.
What's it like to park?
Difficult due to the massive turning circle, although the steering is not too heavy.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
A surprising number of things have gone wrong, considering the car was a prestige mark and only 3-6 years old when I owned it. The CD player broke, and the reconditioned unit was never as good as the original. Rubber trim came away from the door sills. The spring on the petrol flap broke. The central locking worked intermittently on the passenger side. The engine clips broke. After going in for recall work on the air conditioning, it became much noisier.
What's most practical about your car?
This car averaged 30mpg, which was great considering it's size and performance.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Best option was the heated seats - vital for leather seats in winter!
