probably--stuffy old git--, but copppers don't seem to pull volvo's much.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
friends think-- oh no a volvo, family think-- it's a lovely car, MRS says it nice to travel in.
Would you buy this car again and why?
yes, or an 850, the 5 cylinder engine is lovely
What are you likely to buy next?
anything with this lovely engine, but may not be for a while as this one is so reliable and nice to be in.

Did you get a good deal and why?
yes, very good as it turned out. the s70's where i lived where twice the price of this one and it's been a bueaty.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
didn't know what car i wanted, was looking at volvo 850's and noticed this s70.
What was the dealer like?
no guff or flanel just a decnt bloke.i know that dosn't sound poss. but it was true.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
very smooth and quiet, at any speed. could do with being the 20 valve engine as the base engine though, as the 10 valve does feel under powered by todays levels on pull off.
What's it like to park?
not a fista but when you are used to it's size it is not a problem.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
no.had to reset the clock once though.
What's most practical about your car?
it's just so reliable and nice to drive.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
like the dual heating controls, as does the MRS.
