Volvo S80 (98-05) rivals
Overview
Volvo’s executive class saloon is a worthy rival to the German class leaders. With excellent equipment and a beautifully designed cabin, the S80 is incredibly sophisticated, safe, subtle and sleek. To emphasise its market position, there’s not even an estate version. Like Saab, Volvo has maintained its individuality and solid Swedish sensibilities, but not at the expense of style.
