Summary
What does this car say about you?
I like it blends in with all the other cars in company car parks when I visit. My last car Fiat 500L MPW stood out like a sore thumb.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Blends in with the neighbours, 3 V40s in the 6 ajoining houses, was on recomendation from them I went for the V40.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes 100% It is cheap to run and at 30k miles a year that is a real bonus.
What are you likely to buy next?
Not sure, I dont decide on breakfast till 7am in the morning and cars are much the same, will decide when the time comes.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£15,600
When did you buy the car?
January 2016
Did you get a good deal and why?
Motorpoint Derby. I think this was a good deal for a 6 months old car with lots of extras. £29400 new with all the extra bits, so almost half new price at 6 months left me happy.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Economy Over Distance.
What was the dealer like?
Have purchased 4 cars from Motorpoint Derby in the past, never had a problem with them, hassle free buying they leave you alone to look and the only haggling is to get rid of the silly PDO charge and all the bits they want to add on. But stand firm and JUST SAY NO...

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very Comfy. Had to get rid of My 14 Reg Focus S as the seating left me in agony with pains down my right arm.. Have driven this to Inverness and back (1100 Miles) with no problems or pain. Also the heated seats are lovely in the winter.
What's it like to park?
Same as any other hatchback, parking sensors at the back make it a doddle.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing so far.
What's most practical about your car?
D2 has superb MPG if you dont hoon it about, Sitting in the inside lane at 65mph easily returns 70mpg and with the adaptive cruise just indicate and overtake car does all the accelating and braking all you need to do is steer.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The Driver Support Pack, The Enhanced BLIS which lights up on the wing mirror when fast moving traffic approach and the adaptive cruise which matches the speed of vehicle in front make for very relaxed motorway driving.
