Volvo V50 (2004 - 2012) 1.6 DRIVe (109bhp) ES 5d Owner Review

This is without doubt the worst car I've ever owned in 40 years of driving - and I once had an Allegro! Since I bought it 6 months ago it's cost more in repairs than I paid for it. I thought about getting rid after its last little incident last week but, on the basis that there surely can't be anything else to go wrong, I'll try and keep it a few years to try and get some money back but I have no confidence in it whatever, it worries me every time I get into it. If it lets me down once more that's it - it's going. The only compensation that it offers for its unreliability and poor performance is its fuel economy. After this experience I would never buy another Volvo.
