• Summary

    5 out of 5 5.0

What does this car say about you?

    That I'm sensible. (Oh dear...).

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They find it pleasant to be in. My wife has an MX5, so this is the family car and favoured for a longer journey.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes. It's very comfortable; I've had two hire cars in the past year - Golf and Astra, both new - and my back was looking forward to driving the Volvo again. It's reasonably economical, c. 43mpg with enthusiastic driving, a lot in towns.

What are you likely to buy next?

Depends on finances. Probably a 5 series. I'll run this well into six figures first though.

Needed a small/medium estate for work.

    What was the dealer like?

Helpful. Sorted out post sales problem to my satisfaction.

  • Driving it

    What's it like to drive?

Not a rocket ship but adequately quick. Road holding/cornering good and reassuring, as a car based on a Ford Focus should be.

    What's it like to park?

Easy. Square car with parking sensors and electrically adjustable side mirrors.

    No. It's been 100% reliable.

What's most practical about your car?

It's an estate, albeit a small one.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Parking sensors and cruise control. Can't imagine not having them.
