What does this car say about you?
I have children, I have a dog, and possibly a trades person or antique dealer. I have and am not any of the above!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Described by my 11 year old nephew as the "coffin carrier" And when a mate (and even a neighbour) needs a wardrobe from Ikea or a door from B&Q I'm the man they call. I used to take the micky out a good friend of mine with a lab and an antiques shop for owning one - looks whos laughing now!
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, great performance, very reliable (touch wood) comfortable (the seats are great) and swallows loads - three blokes and three mountain bikes and no roof rack or bike carrier!

Did you get a good deal and why?
Superb, the car is really clean with no dents and a full service history although not by a dealer just by a dealers mechanic who was the owner, didn't find this out till after I had paid for it
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Was looking for an Audi A4 Avant, this was the next best thing at the auctions and it is a very clean car!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Excellent on the speed bumps around edinburgh, fine on the potholes on the back roads of the Borders, eats the motorways like I eat jaffa cakes - with great ease and by the dozen
What's it like to park?
Easy! I live on a crouded street in the centre of edinburgh, seem to fit it into spaces folk in peugeot 306's shy away from. You know where the back end is, although you may need banoculars too see the car behind and the frond is straight ahead - no hidden surprises after all it's a volvo - it's a box!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing gone wrong so far - touch wood - although I am begining to get a slight knocking from the suspension, will nvestigate when it gets louder.
What's most practical about your car?
Huge boot, runs on anything (except petrol), great performance and good mpg
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
All pretty standard, climate control is nice though
