Economy
Value
Excellent value, though it does seem to be a little heavy on the front tyres.
Costs
Parts aren't too expensive, thought servicing can be a little on the high side. The average being in the region of £240. Fuel economy is excellent for the size of the car, urban is 34mpg and motorway is 44mpg. This is loaded.

Driving
Car handles exceptionally well. Very comfortable and relaxing drive.
Performance
This is a very fast car for the size and for being a diesel

Living with it
Reliability
This car has only let me down once. Volvo recommend the Cambelt change at 80,000 miles this one snapped at 62,000. I would recommend a change at around 55 - 60,000 miles.
Image
The image of this car is one of the best, better than the new model it doesn't have that Ford Mondeo look of the new model.
Comfort
Is good, seats are supportive, lumbar adjusters, heated seats.

Security and Service
Security
SIPS, airbags, though it does lack an airbag on the passenger side.
Service
I didn't feel that the service was done to the full. If it had the problem with the cambelt I feel would never have happened. I get the servicing done by an independant now.
