Had Volvos since Amazon new in 1964. Bought this 1997 V70 TDi SE 5d for £400.00 Previous owner never looked after it for three years, now overhaul was recon gearbox (would not stay in fifth) new starter motor, 2/h ABS pump from Germany, full service MOT, insurance and road tax. So for £2000.00 I have a top class motor that really goes. It is a diesel manual, keeps wanting to overtake everything, I have to hold it back ! My wife has a 1995 V70 auto which has stood outside our house for 15 years, no rust. What other estates can do that ? I also have a 2011 Transit van & 1994 classic Range Rover.
