In their own words
Although not the highest spec, (its only the 163bhp and lacking the leather interior, sat nav, electric folding mirrors) I'm absolutely astounded at the comfort, performance and build quality of the car. At 15 years old, everything still works exactly as it should. Nothings falling off. All the buttons, levers and handles are there and working. The whole car just has that brilliantly engineered feel where you wouldn't be suprised if it lasted forever.
Economy wise, 55-60mpg on a run no problem. I'm seeing 40-45 around town. The engine is more than powerful enough, even for the 163bhp it pulls really well (I'd love the 185bhp next). There's also not alot of noise considering the big 2.4 diesel sat at the front. I've had no mechanical issues whatsoever. The only quirk is that it keeps throwing up a message for blown bulbs when they're fine. Not really an issue to me. For the size and weight of the thing, it corners ok. I'm not going to say any better because you can feel how heavy it is through corners, it feels planted but with little feedback. It's isn't nimble, shall we say. The only bad thing about the whole experience is the absolutely abysmal turning circle. I'm talking horrific. It's far worse than anything I've ever driven for parking. Although visibility is excellent.
Comfort level is second to none in my opinion. I'm 5'11" and 22 stone. For any xxxl bodybuilder types it's a true gem. The seats are phenomenal and you get out feeling exactly as you got in. None of that long drive cramp or stiffness at all. The dolby system really is as good as people say. Top quality, deep and rich sound.
