Did you get a good deal and why?
Bought under the Approved Used Volvo scheme, seen after regular browsing of the Volvo website. Older stock hanging fire and an older car in the Approved Used scheme so dealer keen to move it. That said it cost around half what most other examples of very slightly younger V70s were going for. 70,000 miles at 8 years old so no worries there. Dealer prepared it to good standard (needed dent repair to door)and delivered to the door from Yorkshire to Kent.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Previous car was a Volvo 240 estate- I wanted a more upto date and user-friendly version of the same.
What was the dealer like?
Keen to do business leading up to sale, after sales less enthusiastic to put right faults and niggles. All sorted in the end, due in no small part to superb service from local dealer.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
More than adequate performance for its size and weight, economy better than expected for such a car. A pleasure to drive especially at motorway speeds.
What's it like to park?
It's wide (so good for interior space) so watch for door dings in supermarket car parks (suggest parking in an end space well over to keep out of other door range!).

Have you had any problems with the car?
Suspension mounts replaced by local dealer at supplying dealer's cost after a couple of weeks. New clutch release bearing under warranty (after approx 2 months.
What's most practical about your car?
It's a Volvo estate!!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Trip computer and cruise control.
