This car is bought under the influence of emotion that I wanted a Red Volvo, but I couldnt get the S60 I wanted, so I decided in a short time to get a Red Volvo. I bought it having a sensation like 'Love at first sight'. Having bought a few used cars before I have never felt like 'You are mine!' , and I was carried away by its sporty style and executive looks.
It turned out to be a great buy as it had the R design body kit and silver roof rails. Looks fantastic and has every gadget I wished for. Apart from the turning circle which is really poor, driving it is like sitting on the armchair at home, the gadgets were brilliant and I loved the heated seats for Winter. Its a good car but I find the seat a bit too wide for me, on long trips I never tires me out because it is so comfortable.
I have had this car for a year but I had to say goodbye as its getting more age related problems and I don't need the amount of space anymore. This car has been on many different roads and the suspension does a good job soaking up the bumps in the road. As it is a big car I felt safe and secure and I loved every moment with the car.
How reliable do you find the car?
It started every time, but being a oldish car the electrics starts to fail a little bit as well as the usual consumables like suspensions etc. Engine wise it is bullet proof and I have never had any troubles.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
I once hit the kerb on an A road at very high speed, but the car took the impact so well that only the tyres were out of alignment and one badly damaged tyre which was already on its last leg. I have also had to brake in emergency once and the car realised I was trying to brake immediately and applied full brake before I can put my feet down to bottom on the brake pedal, it saved me a collision.About their car
