Volvo V70 (2007 - 2016) 2.4D SE Lux 5d Geartronic Owner Review

I bought this car from an independent Volvo dealer in Wigan,the previous owner had it 8 years and averaged about 4000 miles per annum,hence it has only 66000 miles on the clock now.It’s in lovely condition and I would say the owner was single as the interior is perfect,the outside to with not a swirl in sight.Chromework around the windows has some staining but will sort that soon.The interior is cereal leather and walnut trim and it’s a delight to sit inside with that fantastic radio.Light interiors also don’t get so warm as black,so that is great for my dog.I tend to use manual around town and get into 3rd as quick as possible to take advantage of the torque on this beast,if you rely on auto you have to Rev the heck out of it and I think you’d get far less than the 30 mpg I’m getting.On the motorway the instant mileage can be up around 50 so that sounds ok to me.There a a lot more economical cars out there,but I’m a v70 lover and am willing to pay for sailing along on a cloud in that wonderful interior. Hope to sleep in it on camping holidays too,once we have our freedom back. Find a good one and ENJOY. PS.The safety factor in a Volvo also helps.
