Volvo XC40 SUV R-Design Pro B4 (P) FWD auto 5d Owner Review

A comfortable powerful nice handling suv. The seats although firm are extremely comfortable and hold you well .if I have any grumble it's the auto box which can be hesitant in comfort or eco modes but over keen in dynamic..overall though this car fulfils all your expectation of a small executive car The boot space is adequate for its class as is the rear passenger space. I would say the ride quality on the r design is very good even on 20 inch wheels although it is no spots car it grips and steers exceptionally well for a tall heavy vehicle. The economy is not up to my expectations being a mild hybrid bit with near enough 200 hp I suppose its not too bad.. I have found the heated front screen invaluable on this Pro version with the ability to start the car via the volvo app and clear the screen, heat the seats 5 minutes before setting off to work a great comfort with the recent cold weather. In conclusion I would say it is a nice well built car that makes you feel safe and comfortable on your daily commute.
