Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I like a decent size car but the fuel consumption is such I don't need to feel guilty driving it.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They like it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Sure. It has been so reliable in all the wintry weather.
What are you likely to buy next?
Difficult, I only traded in my previous Volvo because of the deal I was offered on the XC60. There was nothing wrong with it and in 7 years I had only paid out for tyres, service and a couple of brake pads. If this one goes the same way it may be a while before I consider buying another.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
Yes
What price did you pay?
£28,000
When did you buy the car?
March 2010
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes, got what I considered a good deal because it included three years free servicing and a higher than market value trade in for my old vehicle
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I liked the idea of City Safety and also needed a bigger car for the family.
What was the dealer like?
Excellent. I have used them before with my previous car and have been going back for 5 years now.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Great. It can actually be quite quick if you want it to be. Otherwise it feels really safe even in appalling conditions.
What's it like to park?
Fine with rear parking sensors.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Very minor thing that the dealer sorted out quickly (petrol flap catch broke).
What's most practical about your car?
Massive amount of space inside and it does around 41 MPG. It did not put a foot wrong in the terrible weather of the winter of 2010/11 which is considerable when you live in a rural area (East Yorkshire) like me and have a 25 mile commute to work.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
City Safety.
