Volvo XC60 (2008 - 2017) D4 (181bhp) R DESIGN Nav AWD 5d Geartronic Owner Review

The Volvo doesn't feel heavy on the steering and it is easy to reverse etc. It feels more like a smaller vehicle than a large 4x4. The ride is very comfortable even on rough country roads. The drivers seat gives you a good view of the road. The rear view window is very big so when reversing you get a good view behind, all the windows give good visibility. The rear view mirror and side mirrors give you a good view around the vehicle when driving and there isn't any major issues with blind spots as you get on some cars that are this big. There is a good feeling of safety when driving even in snow and ice the car grips the road very well. There have been no major issues with reliability and it has never broken down, great in winter weather. Lovely spec suede leather seats are really comfortable. Boot space is very large and when the seats are down (they lay flat which is a bonus) the boot space is large enough for anything from bikes to large armchairs, which we have transported in our boot. Fits 3 people easily in the rear seat with lots of leg room, in the front there is ample room firbthe driver and passenger and also plenty of leg room. There are cup holders in between the driver and passenger seat which hold larger cups. The side pockets in the front and back in the doors store lots if things. All the usual Sat nav, bluetooth, chargers etc etc. The only issue I find is that the Sat Nav is a bit long winded, takes me ages to put an address in. But a minor point. Once the address is in the directions and map are ideal and no issues with that. The servicing bills have not been too high and I haven't had any issues apart from the usual parts that wear and tear ie tyres, brakes etc. Would highly recommend would definitely have another great family car.
