Volvo XC60 SUV Inscription Pro T5 AWD auto 5d Owner Review

In their own words
This is an Inscription Pro with Polestar Tuning and has every extra with the exception of Appleplay. At UKL 53 K it’s not a cheap option. But it has a great drive position, extremely comfortable seating for the driver and passenger. Great parking equipment for 360 degree viewing which has already saved me some car park bumps. The air suspension is excellent and the ca r is very definitely substantially quieter than my previous XC60 which is enhanced by. The laminated side windows. The rear doors are still tight and like a previous reviewer the inside edge of the doors remain constantly filthy, I cant understand why Volvo have nor sorted this out. The adaptive cruise is a real boon on the motorway and I use it all the time. Overall though we are extremely pleased with it. There are a few downsides. Firstly the technology takes a lot of getting used to so be prepared. The wheels I think would have produced a better ride a size smaller. The Sat Nav on my car is unavailable to say A21 and instead says Aahh 21 - ok if you know where your going but slightly confusing if you don’t and it’s saying Aah 3246!! No one has been able to explain this yet but am hoping to solve this on the first service. The Voice control is not that accurate. The boot seems smaller than my previous XC60. Finally the consumption - well at legal limits I have had 34.8 on the motorway which gives 29.9 average over the 5000 Miles we have done. I guess it’s ok but I expected better. I took a 5 year service plan for £500 which given that previously my XC60 rarely saw a service under £450 - so am hoping there is a saving there. Depreciation - well given that I managed a £ 1000 discount and within 3 months my old dealer offered me a diesel version of my car with almost £ 7000 discount - I fear the worst. Having said that he could not supply a petrol at that discount but Volvo do have a tradition of heavily disco7nt8ng certain models. So the answer is by one with low mileage ex Volvo and save yourself £ 10 k over what I paid and you will have a great car at a great price. We compared a Porsche Macan / Jag F Pace and X3. I still think the XC60 was the right choice.
