Summary
What does this car say about you?
As another review says, 'old man and wellies'...
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Seem to like it. An old friend said to me years ago that he could see me one day with a Volvo estate, flatcap and a pack of labradors. All I need now is a flat cap...!
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, great multi purpose car.
What are you likely to buy next?
Keep this until it (or I) die.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£8,750
When did you buy the car?
June 2010
Did you get a good deal and why?
I think so, £500 off and cambelt service included. The car has lots of extras (Winter Pack, Family Pack, Volvo Tow Bar, Sat Nav and TV etc.).
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Wanted to have one car that could do the jobs of my previous Range Rover and Fourtrak. ie Dogs, off-road, motorways and, of course, Waitrose car-park!
What was the dealer like?
Very friendly, a family run business. The car belonged to the wife of the garage owner.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Excellent, very quiet and smooth but has plenty of power when you want it. Arm chair seats are lovely, this car doesn't feel far off from my Rangey in terms of comfort. Much quicker that the 2.5 Range Rover.
What's it like to park?
Hmmm... Visibility ain't great... My bumpers would agree.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
CD changer doesn't like spitting CDs out and day-time lights seem to eat bulbs. Nothing major but both irratating. *UPDATE - had irrating computer glitch whereby the car thought it had a problem so it would disengage the turbo! Quick wipe on the computer and all fine*.
What's most practical about your car?
Big boot for 4 Labs, detachable towbar, plenty of space etc.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Sat Nav/TV that rises out of the dash when the car is started.
